The preparations continue for the international scientific conference "Sustainable development and Actual Problems of Humanitarian Sciences - 2018" organized by Azerbaijan University to be held on May 14-15. Scientists from 10 countries are represented in the international scientific committee of the conference. About 232 articles from about 15 countries are presented to the conference from Turkey, Russia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ukraine and others. Actual participation of academics and researchers from around 10 countries is expected.
The work of the international event was determined in 8 scientific directions, including philology, history, economics, law, culture, sociology, ICT and teaching. Prominent scholars from Turkey and Russia – Bulent Achma, Yuri Goryachev and Olga Astafyeva will deliver reports at the plenary session of the conference.
Note that unlike humanitarian subjects with a sufficient scientific base, sustainable development concept that has been added in the past few years into our lexicon has become one of the most intensive topics in the crossroads of different sciences. But still there is a serious need for the formation of fundamental views and the creation of sophisticated scientific basis of this field, which has not been fully studied.
