A group of students from Azerbaijan University have toured the “Artım” project space of YARAT Contemporary Art Centre.
After seeing the exhibition "Peripheral Expansion" and listening to guide's lecture, the students completed the creative task in four groups.
In a short period of time they have prepared presentations on the challenges and solutions posed by problems such as urbanization, food waste, religious conflict and corruption. Themes of creative tasks are defined on the basis of random selection.
“Peripheral Expansion” brings together a group of artists exploring the paradox of the core/periphery dichotomy through a series of works enlightening those facets of life, which are given least attention to, neglected or overlooked.
The group exhibition includes works by artists Aydan Ismayilova, Javid Gurbanov, Emin Mathers, Luciana Ohira & Sergio Bonilha, Sabina Aliyeva, Tural Rahmanli, Vusal Rzasoy and collective works collections by “Calembour” , “Kekalove”, “22.
