Philology of the Azerbaijan University (Azerbaijani language and literature) IV year students' first part of production experience is over. In this event the research conducted by the students during the internship and the presentation of folklore samples collected from different cities and villages of Azerbaijan were organized.

Students paid special attention to the collection of folklor samples that were neglected and preserved in memory. Among the collected examples bayats,folk tales and legends are abound.

Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature Ulviya Rahimova, Professor of the Department Asif Hajiyev, Teacher of the Department Yusif Novruzov, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities Safar Mammadov spoke about the relevance and importance of collecting and recording rich folklore of Azerbaijan,as well as scientific study.

It should be noted that the production experience of IV year students started in February. Philology (Azerbaijani language and literature) IV year students are informed about methods of collecting folklore samples, rules of conversation with informants, arrenging the recorded notes before going to the field research.
