An agreement on cooperation signed between Azerbaijan University and Confucius Institute within Baku State University. Rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva and Director of  Confucius Institute Ogtay Jalilbeyli signed the document.

The contract is mainly aimed at implementation of joint actions to contribute to the development of cooperation and expanding the scope of educational relations between Azerbaijan and China.  

According to the document, the partners will cooperate on student exchange between Azerbaijan University and leading Chinese universities, organization of summer and winter schools on Chinese language courses for the students of Azerbaijan University, inclusion of the Chinese language into the curriculum of Azerbaijan University as a second foreign language, assisting students of Azerbaijan University in preparing for Chinese HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) and HSKK (Hanyu Shuiping Kouyu Kaoshi) exams and in such other aspects .
