A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan University with MP Sadig Gurbanov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology. The event was held within the framework of the “Diplomacy through the eyes of youth” project, jointly organized by the Student Youth Organization and the Club of young diplomats operating under the Department of Political Science of the University. Opening meeting of the Project was attended by Vice-rector for Scientific Affairs Yusif Gasimov, head of the Department of Political Sciences Elvin Talyshinsky, lecturers of the Department, active members of SYO and the Club.

Vice-rector Yusif Gasimov introduced the guest to the participants of the event and informed about the activities of the Committee. Head of the Department of Political Science Elvin Talyshinsky thanked the guest for accepting the invitation.

MP Sadig Gurbanov's speech was devoted to such topics as “Youth policy of Heydar Aliyev”, “Political views of Heydar Aliyev”, “Ideology of Azerbaijanism”, “Diplomatic successes of Azerbaijan”. After his speech, the guest answered questions of the meeting participants on topical issues such as new realities emerging in the region with the Karabakh victory, the local anti-terrorist operation in the Karabakh region, the reintegration program.

It should be noted that the “Diplomacy through the eyes of youth” project is being implemented in order to increase the knowledge of students studying in various specialties in the field of diplomacy.
