Ganira Pashayeva, a Member of Parlament, Chairman of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, a well-known public figure and journalist, the great daughter of the Turkic world, who is devoted to the Azerbaijani state and the people of Azerbaijan with all her existence, worked steadily for the socio - cultural unity of the Turkic peoples, died in the hospital where she was treated. Member of Parlament, who won great sympathy of the people with her patriotism and loyalty to national statehood, was buried in the 2nd Alley of Honor after the farewell ceremony held at the Heydar mosque.

We are saddened by the untimely death of Ganira Pashayeva, a close friend of Azerbaijan University, who voiced the problems of Azerbaijan and the voice of truth from the most authoritative tribunes, who brought the truth about Karabakh to the agenda on international platforms, set an example to young people and students with her great ideas and deeds, and express our deepest condolences to her family, relatives and all those who love her.

The greatest wealth for a person is to win the respect, trust, and love of his people.

We can see this today at the farewell ceremony for Ms. Ganira.

She will always be remembered for her services in building a national state, her memory will always live in the hearts of those who know her.
