The memorial-spring complex and home museum in memory of Fakhraddin Gurbanli, the martyr of April and graduate of Azerbaijan University, was opened. Besides family members and relatives of the martyr, the executive authorities of Binagadi district, Binagadi settlement municipality, representatives of Azerbaijan University, teacher and student personnel of the secondary school No 179 named after Gorkhmaz Bakhshiyev, and media – public figures as well,  attended the ceremony organized on the martyr's birthday.

The speeches highlighted the importance of the April wars, stressed the patriotic spirit of the youth, and shared the memories of Fakhraddin Gurbanli's life. Seyfaddin Gurbanli, the martyr's father expressed his gratitude for the care and attention provided by our state to the families of martyrs.

After the opening ceremony, there was an introductory visit to memorial-spring complex and home museum in memory. The stand showing the timeline of the martyr and personal objects and awards were displayed as well. The memorial-spring complex is located in the same street lived and named after the martyr.

Fakhraddin Seyfaddin Gurbanli was born in 1994 in Binagadi district of Baku. He graduated from the secondary school 179 named after Korkmaz Bakhshiyev. In 2011 he started his education in  Social Work speciality at Azerbaijan University. Fakhraddin Gurbanli, a brilliant and exemplary student, has volunteered in organizations and projects such as the Legal World Public Association Legal Law, SOS Children's Villages, UAFA (United Aid for Azerbaijan). In 2015 he graduated from the Faculty of Social Work in the top third of his year. He joined the military service in July of the same year. He was killed in the first days of April 2016 while preventing the provocation of Armenian military units in Terter line of the frontal line. He was buried in a village cemetery in the Pirshagi settlement of Sabunchu district. He was awarded the 3rd-degree medal "For Distinguished Service in the Military Service" after his death.

In 2016,  Azerbaijan University established the "Scholarship on behalf of Martyr Fakhraddin Gurbanli".  A total of 500 manat scholarship is awarded to the student who entered the university with the highest score in the first semester of the first academic year.
