Professor of the Sorbonne University spoke at the conference dedicated to the gender problem

Louis Delingwater, the professor at the Sorbonne University of France, made a report on “Neoliberal Reforms and Women's Satisfaction at Work” at the plenary session of the international scientific conference “Gender Problems and Modern Azerbaijan” held at the Azerbaijan University. Professor Louis Delingwater participated in the international event as a guest speaker. The conference was organized in partnership with the Middlesex University of Great Britain.

In his speech, Louis Delingwater gave information on the contradictions and positive aspects of neoliberalism and neoliberal politics, neoliberalism, and a market economy, gender inequality and its impact on the labor market, women's participation in the labor market, the results of studies conducted in this area by Sorbonne University. Analyzing conditions of the labor market in France and England presented the picture in numbers.

The report noted that in the countries where the studies were conducted, gender problems in the labor market are relevant and neoliberal politics create an uneven state. In his speech, proposals were put forward for the necessary reforms to eliminate gender inequality in the labor market.

At the international scientific conference, there was another invited speaker, professor of Baku State University Rena Ibragimbekova. Her report was dedicated to the topic: “The Current State of the Gender Approach”.
