A foundation course in Azerbaijani language for foreign citizens has been launched at Azerbaijan University. The main goal of the course is to prepare foreign nationals for undergraduate and graduate studies at Azerbaijan University, as well as at other higher education institutions operating in the country. The course provides foreign nationals with the opportunity to learn or improve their Azerbaijani language skills, helping them adapt more quickly to the local environment and achieve success in their studies.

The duration of the foundation course is one academic year. The teaching is conducted by professional instructors and is based on modern methodology. In addition to Azerbaijani language skills, participants are also taught fundamental subjects. 

Participants who successfully complete the foundation course will be awarded a relevant certificate from the Ministry of Science and Education. The certificate grants foreign nationals the right to continue their studies at Azerbaijan University, as well as at other higher education institutions in the country.
