The Glossary of Ecological Terms is compiled by the Faculty members from the Department of Translation and Philology at Azerbaijan University, Assoc. Prof. Eldar Shakhgaldiyev, PhD in Philology Laman Gasymly, PhD in Philology Heydar Guliyev and Ogtay Ismayil.  

The glossary content, developed as a result of awareness efforts and educational activities carried out on climate change and COP, includes frequently used ecological terms. The glossary was reviewed in a departmental meeting, discussed by the Academic Council of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and recommended for publication.

Notably, the glossary was developed in accordance with Azerbaijan University's action plan for the Year of Solidarity for a Green World and COP29, guided by the order issued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 25, 2023.
