“The Spring Tournament of Chess and Checkers” has finished at Azerbaijan University. The tournament has been completed with announcing the winners.

Vusal Hasanov, the head of the School of  Business and Economics was the winner in chess and Polad Azizov, the teacher of the mentioned school got the first place in checkers.

In the competition held earlier among the students from all the schools and departments who were interested in chess and checkers, Vugar Mammadov, the student of the School of  Business and Economics won the first place in the game of chess and Kenan Khalafov, the student of the School of Social work won in checkers. Ilgar Iskenderov got the second place in both kinds of games.

According to the results of the tournament, the students who won the 2nd and the 3rd place were awarded diplomas and the Cup was awarded to the winners.
