Rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva was awarded the "Jubilee Badge" for her services in the trade union movement on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Free Trade Union of Educators of Azerbaijan (FTUEA). The rector was awarded this prize by the decision of the Presidium of the Republican Committee of FTUEA.

The Free Trade Union of Educators of Azerbaijan was established on June 9, 1920 and since its inception has made great contributions to the protection of labor and social rights of its members, teachers, education workers, the effective conduct of their leisure time and recreation.
