Lectures of Polish scientist for the students of Business and Economics faculty completed
The lectures of Katarzyna Mikolajczyk, a lecturer of Poland Crakow University of Economics for the students studying in English medium specialities of Business and Economics Faculty of Azerbaijan University within the framework of “Erasmus +” exchange program have been completed.
The guest teacher’s lectures on “Evolution of banking sector in selected Central and East European countries: “From state to market” and “The impact of post-crisis regulations on foreign banks attitude toward their branches and subsidiaries in host countries” organized in an interactive form were listened with interest by the students. The students studying in bachelor degree participated in both lectures.
The Polish guest’s last lecture on "Foreign Capital in CEE banks: the mode of entry (green-field investments vs. privatisation vs. mergers and acquisitions) and its impact on banks efficiency and stability in the host countries” was attended by the MBA students.
The lectures covered the history, development of the banking system of Central and Eastern European countries, privatisation in the banking sector, the impact of banks and so on.
