Keeping the expansion of international relations and participation in exchange programs constantly in the spotlight, Azerbaijan University expands the network of universities it co-operates within the framework of “Mevlane” və Erasmus+” exchange programs. Recently an agreement on academic cooperation and exchange were signed with Kirklareli University in Turkey. The document was signed by the rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva and the rector of Kirklareli University prof. Bulent Shengorur.

The document allows students of Azerbaijan University to study in one higher education institution of Turkey for one or two semesters within the "Mevlana" and "Erasmus" exchange programs. Teachers of Azerbaijan University will also be able to participate in the educational process at the mentioned university. Students and teachers of the Kirklareli University have also been granted the right to study at Azerbaijan University and participate in the educational process as well.

Note that “Mevlana” Exchange Program implements student and teacher exchange among higher education institutions of Turkey and other countries around the world. The” Erasmus +” exchange program is funded by the European Union, and implements the exchange of student, academic and administrative staff among the universities. The co-ordination issues for both programs are executed by the International Relations Department of the University.
