The SSS of Azerbaijan University is organizing a national poetry contest entitled “You in Poetry” with the aim of fostering young people’s literary and artistic creativity, as well as preserving and promoting national poetic traditions.

Students from all higher education institutions of Azerbaijan are eligible to participate in the contest.

The contest is organized to identify talented young poets, reveal and encourage their creative potential, support personal development, and enhance self-expression skills among young people.

Contest rules

Each participant must recite only one poem, authored by him/her;

The theme is open (Motherland, humanity, nature, love, national values, etc.);

Poems will be presented in the form of oral recitation (performance);

The contest will be held in one stage, and the winners will be determined by the decision of the jury.

Award ceremony

Winners selected by the jury will be awarded diplomas, certificates, and commemorative gifts.

The Student Scientific Society of Azerbaijan University invites students from all universities to take part in the contest, which aims to serve as an important platform for personal development, integration into the literary community, showcasing creativity, and revealing poetic talent.
