“Oh, Homeland” knowledge contest to be held among University students

A knowledge contest titled “Oh, Homeland” will be held among students of Azerbaijan University. The goal of the contest is to create a platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of sovereignty, the foundations of Azerbaijan’s state independence, key articles of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the history and culture of Karabakh, Azerbaijan’s historic victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, and the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation.
Participation in the contest is team-based. Each team must consist of 5 members, including a captain, and must represent all three university faculties (Faculty of Business and Economics, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies).
The knowledge competition will be held on the following topics:
- The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan
- Karabakh in history, literature, and art: Then and Now
- The Great Return to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur
- Economy and ICT
- General worldview
The deadline for applications is April 15, 2025, and the contest will take place on May 1, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM in Room 212.
Team captains can collect the registration form and obtain detailed information about the subjects covered in the contest from the Public Relations Department (4th floor, Room 518).
It should be noted that the contest is organized as part of the activities planned under the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” at Azerbaijan University, in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 28, 2024.
