Head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Azerbaijan University, PhD in Political Science, Assoc. Prof. Elvin Talyshinski spoke at the national scientific-practical conference “Contemporary models of religious education in the context of traditions and global challenges”.

The conference was jointly organized by the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, and the Spiritual Values Promotion Fund. State officials, scholars, intellectuals, religious leaders, and members of the public attended the conference to propose solutions for emerging issues in education and to facilitate experience sharing among researchers and professionals working in this field.

In his speech, Elvin Talyshinski emphasized the importance of preserving centuries-old national values of the Azerbaijani people against the backdrop of globalization and integration processes linking huge geographies. He highlighted the significance of Azerbaijan’s recognition not only as an economic and political power in the world but also for its history, culture, and national heritage.
