Second-year students of Azerbaijan University specializing in Social Work participated in an online meeting with the State Probation Service of Latvia. The meeting was organized by the Department of Social Work Organization as part of its collaboration with the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Representatives from the Probation Service of Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, the Social Services Agency, and the “Encouraging Future” youth organization also joined the session.

The meeting, focused on “Risk and Needs Assessment Tools, Community Supervision, and Group Rehabilitation Programs,” provided participants with detailed insights into these topics. Discussions covered the structure of probation services in Latvia and the country's experiences in this field. 

The primary aim of the event was to familiarize students with international practices in probation and to contribute to the enhancement of local social service activities.
