Presentation of the book “Artistic and aesthetic essence of forgotten national traditions of Western Azerbaijan” was held for the faculty and students of Azerbaijan University. The book was prepared by “For Sustainable Development” Public Union as part of the “Artistic and Aesthetic Essence of National Customs and Traditions” project. 

At the event, Elvin Talyshinski, Head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Azerbaijan University; Nariman Boyukkishi, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting; and Nigar Khudiyeva, Executive Director and Project Manager of "For Sustainable Development" Public Union, spoke about the project’s significance. Zaur Asadzada, a member of the Union, along with the book's authors, Eltaj Jabiyev and Ravan Jafarli, introduced the book’s content to the attendees. 

Speakers highlighted that the main goal of the book is to educate society about the forgotten and fading traditions of Western Azerbaijan. 

It should be noted that the project was implemented with financial support from the Agency for State Support to NGOs. Fifty copies of Artistic and Aesthetic Essence of Forgotten National Traditions of Western Azerbaijan, produced as part of the project, were donated to the Azerbaijan University library collection.
