Assoc. Prof. Elvin Talyshinski, Dr. of Political Sciences, head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Azerbaijan University, has been awarded the Honorary Order of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) in recognition of his scientific achievements. The award was conferred for his productive academic and pedagogical activity, his accomplishments in research at both international and national levels, and his contribution to joint projects implemented in cooperation with scholars from Azerbaijan and the brotherly Republic of Turkiye.

The Honorary Order was presented by the President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli. Elvin Talyshinski expressed his gratitude to the leadership of ANAS for the high appreciation of his work.

It should be noted that last year a monograph entitled “Common Identity and Philosophical Heritage: The History of Thought in Turkish Culture”, prepared by Elvin Talyshinski in collaboration with Turkish researchers, was published in Turkiye. The monograph is already being used as a textbook in a number of higher education institutions across Turkic countries.
