It`s the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan University which laid the foundation of private higher education in Azerbaijan. Since 2017, Saadat Aliyeva is the rector of the university which was founded in 1991 by a corresponding member of ANAS, professor Saladdin Khalilov. The 30th anniversary of the university was marked by several events within the year due to pandemics.

Azerbaijan University - being as a member of international exchange programs such as Erasmus+, Mevlana, and DAAD, also acting as the official Accredited Test Center for The ECDL (European Computer Driving License) certification program in Azerbaijan, and Exam Sub-Center of PTE (Pearson Test of English), which certifies English language skills at the international level as well. The International Dual Diploma Program of Azerbaijan University jointly with the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics of Ukraine is implemented as well. There is also an Intro-University Dual Diploma (UDID) Program which allows students to get 2 diplomas in 2 different specialties in 4 years.

Teaching and management at Azerbaijan University are organized based on international standards, according to ISO 9001:2015 “Quality Management System”.

Having undergone great development for 30 years, rich scientific and pedagogical traditions, always distinguished by its weight in the higher education space of the country, Azerbaijan University continues its efforts to train specialists who will contribute to the dynamic development of our country and achieve strategic goals.
