Azerbaijan University held a tree planting campaign. The university staff joined action with great enthusiasm, which, was organized in the yard of Samir Hajiyev Secondary School No. 5 in the Nasimi district of Baku. 30 olive and pine tree seedlings were planted in the school yard , dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan University. Newly planted tree seedlings were irrigated and provided with appropriate agro-technical care.

The staff of the University Azerbaijan, the board of the Nasimi district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and the school administration was attended in the event.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan University which laid the foundation of private higher education in our country, is 30 years old. The 30th anniversary of the university is celebrated with various events in accordance with the conditions of the pandemic. Founded in 1991 by corresponding member of ANAS, professor Salahaddin Khalilov, Saadat Aliyeva has headed the university since 2017.
