Elchin Aghayev and Sabina Bahramova (group 222215A), final year students of Azerbaijan University majoring in “Translation (English)”, actively participated in the simultaneous interpretation process of the prestigious event “Global CEO Summit 2026” within the framework of their internship program. The students gained experience in English simultaneous interpretation, the organization and administrative control of simultaneous interpretation work, as well as the installation and configuration of simultaneous interpretation equipment. All speeches within the “Global CEO Summit 2026” were presented in Azerbaijani and English with simultaneous interpretation provided by Shams Translation Services.

The event was organized under the slogan “Leading Change Together” by the Azerbaijan HR Institute and the CEO Club Azerbaijan, with “LinkedIn” as the main partner. The “Global CEO Summit 2026”, which brought together leaders of local and global companies, government representatives, and entrepreneurs, became an important discussion platform in the areas of management, human capital, finance, and digital transformation.

It should be noted that students Elchin Aghayev and Sabina Bahramova are undergoing an internship at Shams Translation Services. The internship, which began on February 16, 2026, will conclude on June 19, 2026.
