One more event dedicated to the life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Azerbaijan University. The guest of the event organized by the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature was the writer, publicist, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Deputy Director of the Azerbaijan International Radio Natavan Demirchioglu.

Ulviyya Rahimova, head of the Azerbaijani Language and Literature Department, opened the event and emphasized that the national leader Heydar Aliyev was deeply attached to the literary and cultural heritage and wealth of our nation and attached great value to it. Lecturer of the department Leyla Mammadalieva introduced students to the life and works of Natavan Demirchioglu. 

Guest of the event, Natavan Demirchioglu, in her speech, spoke about the life and work of Heydar Aliyev, who turned from a simple citizen into a national leader of the people with his great political experience and wisdom, about the obstacles and difficulties he faced along the way, about his unique merits to the Azerbaijani people. The guest noted that Heydar Aliyev has always appreciated the outstanding representatives of classical literature of Azerbaijan and showed special care for his contemporaries- writers and masters of the word. 

Students' questions on the topic were answered at the end of the event.
