New specializations added  to the master\'s degree admission plan of Azerbaijan University

The undergraduate and graduate student admission plan for the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as the planned places for the MBA program (Master in Business Administration) of Azerbaijan University have been approved. Admission is conducted by the State Examination Center (SEC) and the form of education in all specializations is full-time. 

Two new majors have been added to the Master's admission plan. Starting from the new academic year, master's training will be available in the specialties “Socio-psychological service in education” and “Human Resources Management” of the MBA program. 

A total of 233 students are planned to be admitted to the master's degree program at  Azerbaijan University this year. The admission plan allocated 143 places across 10 specialties and 19 specializations. For MBA program, there are planned places for 6 specializations, including 50 places for Azerbaijani-medium and 40 places for English-medium section. In English-medium specialties, the competition is held jointly in Azerbaijani and Russian sections. 

The Marketing specialty within the MBA program is offered as part of a double degree program collabration with the University of Tuscia, Italy. Selection of students for this program is conducted through a competition. Classes, open to both local and foreign students, are taught by professors from both universities. Students who successfully complete their studies will receive a master's degree in the relevant specialty, along with diplomas from both high education institutions.

Admission to all specializations except MBA program is possible on the basis of state order (SO). Students admitted on a paid basis also receive scholarships by the state budget, starting from the second semester. The amount of scholarships depends on the student's academic performance and is reassessed at the end of each semester.

Azerbaijan University participates in the international exchange programs such as ”Erasmus+“, ”Mevlana” and cooperates with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The ”Erasmus+” program allows students to study at leading universities in Turkey and Europe, while the DAAD program offers short-term education at German universities. The ”Mevlana” program facilitates academic exchange with Turkish universities.

Graduates of the bachelor's program of the Azerbaijan University this year are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition fees for the entire period of their master’s study.
