Rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva met with students of the Business and Economics Faculty
Rector of Azerbaijan University, Saadat Aliyeva, held a meeting with group of students from the Faculty of Business and Economics. During the meeting, students Fidan Alizada, Rauf Aliyev, and Nilufar Allahyarly presented a video about student life at the University, which they prepared on their own initiative. The Rector expressed her appreciation for the students' initiative and watched the video together with them.
The video captured various aspects of University life, showcasing scenes from the library, lecture rooms, computer labs, auditoriums, conference rooms, and the cafeteria. Particular emphasis was placed on the activities of the academic library, opportunities provided for students by the International Relations Department, and students’ opinions about their University life.
The meeting continued with an open discussion, where the rector listened to the students’ ideas, suggestions, and future plans. The rector offered advice for students on educational and career planning, personal development, and ways to make extracurricular time more enriching and productive.
During the meeting, Nilufar Allahyarly presented to the rector his startup project “Nyshee Car Service Motors,” which she authored. She said that she wants to engage in entrepreneurial activity, aiming to provide unique car repair services in Baku and in the regions.
Saadat Aliyeva wished the students success and emphasized that their active participation in implementing events and projects at Azerbaijan University is highly valued. She assured them that the University administration would continue to support student-driven ideas and initiatives.
It is worth noting that the video was created by fourth-year students. Fidan Alizada and Rauf Aliyev are majoring in Marketing (English medium), while Nilufar Allahyarly is majoring in Business Administration (English medium).
