Industrial Internship for Bachelor at Azerbaijan University Began
The industrial internship for final-year bachelors at Azerbaijan University began in the 2024/2025 academic year. A meeting was held to kick off the internship, with the participation of intern students, internship supervisors, Education Department staff, and department heads. The internship, which started on February 17, will last until May 24 for students majoring in “Organization of Tourism Work” and “Museum, Archive Work and Protection of Monuments”, and until June 25 for students majoring in other specialities.
A total of 387 students, including 43 students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies, 21 students from the Faculty of Business and Economics, and 323 students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, are participating in the internship. These students will undertake their internships at institutions such as the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency, SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic), the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, the Institute of Control Systems at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, the Institute of History and Ethnology of ANAS, the Memorial Museum of Bulbul, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, the “Reliable Future” Social Initiatives Public Union, the Research Institute of Psychology, the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in other government and private organizations.
During the meeting, students were provided with information on the nature and organization of the industrial internship, and their questions were answered.
In addition, the scientific-pedagogical and scientific-research internships for second-year master's students also began. A total of 58 master's students in fields such as Philology, History, Information Technology and Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Social Work are participating in the internship program. The scientific-pedagogical internship will run from February 17 to March 14, 2025, and the scientific-research internship will take place from March 17 to April 11.
