An internal qualifying round of the Artistic Creativity Festival-Contest was held at Azerbaijan University
Azerbaijan University held an internal qualifying round in the category of “Artistic Recitation” as part of the Artistic Creativity Festival-Contest, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The participants’ performances were evaluated by a panel of judges that included faculty members from the Department of Translation and Philology, Solmaz Suleymanova and Huseyn Huseynli, along with Togrul Guliyev, a specialist from the Public Relations Department. Based on the jury's decision, the winner of the contest was Tabriz Abbasov, a first-year student majoring in International Relations. Second place was awarded to Solmaz Isgandarli, a fourth-year student in Azerbaijani Language and Literature, and Jansu Nazarova, a first-year student in Social Work. Third place went to Tamara Hasanova and Aynur Agayeva, both first-year students majoring in Museum, Archive Work and Preservation of Monuments
The winners were awarded certificates.
The aim of the festival-contest is to foster a spirit of national patriotism among youth, instill respect for Azerbaijani culture, art, and traditions, support the development of artistic and aesthetic appreciation, discover talented young people in various forms of art, and contribute to the growth of their creative potential.
It is worth noting that the contest was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Education Workers Free Trade Union Republican Committee.

- Tabriz Amil oglu Abbasov – International Relations, 1st year student
- Jansu Mahir gyzy Nazarova – Social Work, 1st year student
- Solmaz Isgandar gyzy Isgandarli – Philology (Azerbaijani Language and Literature), 4th year student
- Tamara Faragi gyzy Hasanova – Museum, Archive Work and Preservation of Monuments, 1st year student
- Aynur Elchin gyzy Agayeva - Museum, Archive Work and Preservation of Monuments, 1st year student
