At the meeting of the Department of Political and Social Sciences, a preliminary discussion of the thesis on the topic “The Art History in the Guba Region of Northern Azerbaijan (2nd Half of the 18th Century, Early 20th Century)” was held, which was completed by the dissertation student Gunay Hasan Hasanova to obtain the degree of PhD in History.

The thesis presented at the meeting chaired by Elvin Talyshinsky, PhD in Political Science and Assoc. Prof., head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences, was discussed and highly appreciated as a completed scientific research work.

In conclusion, it was noted that the dissertation meets the requirements set forth by the Supreme Attestation Commission for the degree of PhD in History and it was decided to recommend it to the next stage of defense.

The academic advisor of the doctoral candidate is Prof. Jamal Mustafayev, Dr. of Historical Sciences.
