A meeting was held between Elvin Abbasbayli - the first Azerbaijani member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters and an accredited interpreter for the President and Government of France - and a group of last-year students of Azerbaijan University majoring in Translation (English) who are currently completing their internships at the “Avrasiya” Translation Center.

During the meeting, Elvin Abbasbayli shared his international experience and personal success story with the students, encouraging them to be more proactive and goal-oriented. The session continued in a discussion format, with Q&A session.

The meeting, which was both motivational and educational in nature, played an important role in helping students reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical insights.

It is worth noting that the internship at the “Avrasiya” Translation Center is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Laman Gasymly, PhD in Philology, from the Department of Translation and Philology.
