Azerbaijan University scholars present at international scientific conference
Representatives of Azerbaijan University participated in the 6th International Scientific Conference on “Problems of Cybernetics and Informatics” (PCI 2025), organized in a hybrid format by the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education.
The University delegation included Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Dr. of Mathematical Sciences Yusif Gasimov, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Assoc. Prof. Rashad Mastaliyev, Head of the Science Department, PhD in Mathematics Latifa Aghamaliyeva, and Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies Asif Pashayev, made a report “On a Stepwise Control Problem for Discrete Volterra Type Systems and Study of the Minimax Control Model”. The report was heard in the “Optimization and Optimal Control” session and was selected due to its scientific relevance, sparking an in-depth academic discussion.
The Conference brought together representatives of the Azerbaijani academic community alongside scholars and researchers from Turkiye, Japan, Kazakhstan, Austria, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, the United States, Belarus, Slovakia, China, Georgia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Hungary, Estonia, Cyprus, Australia, Latvia, Great Britain, France, Moldova, Belgium, Poland, Canada, Sweden, and several other countries.
Selected papers from the International Conference are planned to be included in the IEEE Xplore e-library.
It should be noted that the Conference was jointly organized by the Institute of Control Systems of the Ministry of Science and Education, Ege University of Turkiye, the V. M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of Ukraine, the Institute of Information and Computational Technologies of Kazakhstan, and the University of Thessaly of Greece.
