Azerbaijan University was represented at the “International Staff Week” hosted by Kastamonu University in Turkey. The University delegation included Elvin Talyshinski, head of the Department of Political and Social Sciences, and Nahid Almasov, deputy dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics. During the international event, opportunities for cooperation with universities from approximately 20 countries were discussed, and prospects for the implementation of future joint projects were evaluated.

The primary objective of the event, organized by Kastamonu University, was to promote the strengthening of international academic cooperation among universities.

As part of the visit, Nahid Almasov, Deputy dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, delivered lectures to students of Kastamonu University on the topics “Decision making under uncertainty” and “Price discrimination” within the framework of the “Managerial economics” course.

Head of Department Elvin Talyshinski also spoke at a memorial ceremony dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzade, sharing his reflections on the role of the poet’s work in fostering the spiritual unity of the Turkic world.

The five-day program concluded today with a closing ceremony. During the ceremony, the administration of Kastamonu University presented certificates to all participants, including the representatives of Azerbaijan University.
