Presentation of TEC APP mobile application developed by ICT students was organized
The presentation of the TEC APP mobile application developed by students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of Azerbaijan University was held. The presentation was also attended by the University Rector Saadat Aliyeva, dean of the Faculty Asif Pashayev, academic advisor of the Faculty Elzada Sadigova, head of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Rashad Mastaliyev.
At the event, the dean of the Faculty of ICT Asif Pashayev introduced the students who are part of the Working Group and gave brief information about the TEC APP mobile application. Dean noted that this mobile application is the first one of its kind developed both at the University of Azerbaijan and in the country.
Next, 3rd year student Nadir Mamedov, majoring in Computer Engineering, spoke about the main purpose, interface, functionality and rules for using the TEC APP mobile application. Nadir Mammadov noted that the application was developed to ensure the coordinated activities of the student scientific societies of the three faculties of Azerbaijan University. Then the chairman of the Student Scientific Society of the ICT Faculty Sanan Ismayilov demonstrated the visual use of the mobile application.
The mobile application contains information about the Student Scientific Society of each faculty, links and sections such as work plan, reporting, become a member, announcements and news. Each section was demonstrated separately, and the practical capacities of the application were discussed.
At the event, ICT Faculty Dean Asif Pashayev presented information about startup competitions in which students of the Faculty participated, projects they submitted to the “Enactus Azerbaijan” competition, as well as other competitions and projects they participated in during the current academic year.
University Rector Saadat Aliyeva highly appreciated the initiative and activity of ICT students and congratulated the members of the working group involved in the development of the mobile application. The Rector said that the development of the potential of talented students is always in the spotlight, and the support of their ideas and initiatives will continue in the future.
