A webinar titled “How to start a PhD program abroad?” for master students of Azerbaijan University was held by Tamella Abdiyeva, a PhD candidate under the State Program and a master student of Azerbaijan University. In the webinar, initiated and organized by the International Magistrate and Doctoral Studies Center, the PhD candidate provided insights on such questions as, “Why do I want to pursue a PhD?” and “Where do I start?”. 

In her presentation, Abdiyeva elaborated on key aspects of pursuing a PhD abroad, including the duration of doctoral programs, primary requirements for admission, pre- and post-admission processes, scholarship opportunities, and application guidelines under the framework of the State Program.
