The academic journal Social Issues, published by Azerbaijan University, has been accepted for indexing in the ERIH PLUS database. The University’s Science Department has received an official confirmation letter regarding this inclusion. A dedicated profile for the journal has already been created on the ERIH PLUS platform, and all articles published in the journal will be fully accessible through the database’s search system.

ERIH PLUS is the academic journal index of the European Society for the Humanities and Social Sciences. The database’s Dimensions system allows users to search for articles published in more than 10,000 journals accepted into this database.

The scientific journal Social Issues has been published since 2023 by the decision of the Academic Council of Azerbaijan University. The journal’s Editor-in-Chief is Stefan Cojocaru, a distinguished scholar in the field of social sciences and Professor at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University (Romania).

Social Issues publishes research articles primarily focused on topics such as community studies, conflicts, social action, disability, addiction problems, family issues, health policy, unemployment, law and society, poverty and inequality, racial and ethnic minorities, theories of social problems, mental health, social work, and social work education.
