With the support of the Center for Socio-Psychological Research and Counseling at Azerbaijan University and the “World” Career and Professions Center, in collaboration with Knowledge Academy and the Inlingua Language Center, the “Career and Development” Forum was successfully held. The Forum aimed to support students in choosing their careers and planning for the future, providing them with opportunities to prepare for the job market and build professional connections.

The event, organized specifically for final-year university students, focused on career planning topics. Attendees also listened to motivational speeches by Sabina Muradova, Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Knowledge Academy, Aygun Mammadli, Head of the “World” Career and Professions Center, and Parvin Asadova, Director of the Inlingua Language Center. Their talks covered essential topics such as career planning and entry into the labor market.

The role and advantages of foreign language skills in the career, the importance of language skills in increasing competitiveness in the international environment were emphasized at the Forum. The critical role of soft skills development in achieving success in the business world was also underlined. Additionally, discussions covered effective time management, the opportunities volunteer work provides for both personal and professional growth, the valuable experience it offers, and its social and career advantages.
