A meeting was organized with Anar, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, People’s Writer, and Chairman of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, for fourth-year students of the Faculty of Philology (Azerbaijani Language and Literature; English Language and Literature) who were undertaking their internship at the Ulduz magazine. The meeting, organized to create an opportunity for direct communication with the writer, was attended by Editor-in-Chief of Ulduz magazine, poet and publicist Gulu Aghsas, magazine editor and poet Taleh Mansur, Head of the Department of Translation and Philology of Azerbaijan University, PhD in Philology Gulnar Rzayeva, and Assoc. Prof. of the Department, PhD in Philology and internship supervisor Khayala Jafarova.

During the meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, students asked the writer questions about his work and the contemporary literary process. The People’s Writer provided comprehensive answers to the students’ questions, shared interesting aspects of his work, and presented his views on the modern literary process.

At the end of the event, the People’s Writer signed copies of his books for the students and took commemorative photos with them.
