The Departments of Social Work Organization and Foreign Languages at Azerbaijan University organized a visit for first-year Social Work students to the social care institution “Children’s Home № 3”.

During the visit, students engaged in various activities with the children, playing games, collaborating on creative projects, and spending quality time together. The event featured interactive learning sessions, arts and crafts activities, and fun, development-focused games. Activities included drawing, cognitive development games, and team-building tasks.

Students also had the opportunity to meet with social service professionals working at the institution who shared valuable insights into effective methods for working with children and addressed the psychological needs of the young residents. The information and experiences gained during the visit significantly contributed to enriching students’ theoretical knowledge with practical understanding.

It is worth noting that such events offer Social Work students meaningful opportunities to develop professional skills, broaden their field experience, and acquire hands-on knowledge relevant to their future careers.
