Socio-Psychological Research and Counseling Center

The Socio-Psychological Research and Counseling Center commenced its activities in May 2024. Established to safeguard the psychological health of students, faculty, and administrative-technical staff, support their personal development, and strengthen social integration, the Center provides professional counseling and socio-psychological services while ensuring the strict confidentiality of personal information.

The priority areas of the Center`s activities include fostering and protecting a healthy moral and psychological environment within the University, improving the social well-being of service recipients, and conducting scientific research in the socio-psychological field.

Objectives of the Center:

  • Assessing the socio-psychological status of students and teaching staff, and organizing individual and group psychological counseling tailored to their needs;
  • Conducting research in the socio-psychological field, as well as administering various surveys to measure, develop, and monitor socio-emotional skills;
  • Developing programs that support the psychological well-being of service recipients and ensuring their effective implementation;
  • Providing support for the adaptation of individuals with disabilities to the University environment and their socio-psychological well-being;
  • Organizing seminars, workshops, roundtable discussions, and awareness-raising events on socio-psychological topics;
  • Delivering psychological support to students facing various difficult life situations, and conducting measures aimed at strengthening their psychological resilience and social development;
  • Providing socio-psychological support to international students regarding the challenges they encounter during adaptation, integration into the University environment, and stress management, as well as offering necessary counseling and guidance;

Establishing partnerships and facilitating the exchange of experience by participating in local and international projects addressing socio-psychological issues.
