Attention faculty members and students wishing to participate in the exchange program in Italy!

The International Relations Department of Azerbaijan University announces the acceptance of applications for student and faculty exchange at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, within the exchange program.

Requirements for faculty members and students wishing to participate in the educational process at Sapienza University, Italy, in the autumn semester of the 2026/2027 academic year:

Required documents for faculty members

• CV
• Passport
• Motivation letter
• List of published scientific works
• Invitation letter signed by a professor of Sapienza University

Requirements for students

• Mimumum B2 level of English language proficiency.
• GPA not lower than 2.5.
• Mandatory relevance of the field of study.

The exchange program covers participants travel and daily expenses.

Selection of participants wishing to take part in the exchange program will be conducted on a competitive basis in accordance with the allocated number of places (quota).

Faculty members wishing to participate in the exchange program may send their documents by e-mail to elmira.ismayilova@au.edu.az and sevlan.gurbanova@au.edu.az. Students must submit their academic transcripts (with a GPA of 75 or above) to the International Relations Department.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 20, 2026.
