Azerbaijan University announces admission for graduate programmes for the academic year of 2022/2023

Azerbaijan University announces admission to the master's level for the 2022/2023 academic year. Admission is carried out by the State Examination Center and in accordance with the general rules. According to the results obtained in the admission exam, bachelors who have won the right to participate in the competition can also indicate in their applications the specializations of the University of Azerbaijan. Admission to all specializations outside the MBA program is possible on the basis of the State Order (at the expense of the state budget).

This year, admission is held in 20 specialties. The following is a list of specializations accepted for bachelors for the 2022/2023 academic year.

To the attention of Bachelors:

  • The form of education is full-time in all specializations.
  • For those studying on a paid basis, the tuition fee for the English language specialization is 1,500 manat, for social work and youth work in various fields of life is 2,200 manat, and for all other specializations is 2,000 manat.
  • Students admitted on a paid basis also receive scholarships from the state budget starting from the second semester. The amount of scholarships is 96, 144, 174 manats, depending on the student's academic performance and is re-evaluated at the end of each semester.
  • Azerbaijan University is a member of Erasmus+, Mevlana international credit mobility programs, as well as cooperates with DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service). The Erasmus+ program offers students the opportunity to study and do academic internships at leading universities in Turkey and Europe, and the DAAD program at German universities for one or two semesters. The Mevlana program facilitates academic exchange with Turkish universities.
  • This year's graduates of the bachelor's degree of the University of Azerbaijan will receive a 10 percent discount on tuition fees during their studies.

Students with privileged status

  • Tuition fees for disabled while defending the territorial integrity, independence and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan; children of citizens who died for the freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and citizens missing in the military operation and declared dead by the court shall be paid from the state budget in the amount of educational expenses approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 25, 2010 No. 120, and the rest from the budget of the Azerbaijan University.
  • Tuition fees for students under the age of 23 who have lost both parents and are deprived of parental care, or one parent has died and the other parent is a group I or II disabled person are paid in full from the state budget.
  • Tuition fees for persons with first and second degree disabilities, as well as children with disabilities under the age of 18 are paid in full from the state budget.
