Registration period for the “Parla” scholarship and development program has been extended

Applications are now open for the 'Parla' scholarship and development program, implemented in collaboration between the Education Development Fund and NEQSOL Holding. Female undergraduate students at any university in the country may apply to participate in the program.
Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship along with opportunities such as internships, mentoring, trainings and access to the programs of the world's leading universities through LinkedIn Learning with NEQSOL Academy.
Eligibility сriteria:
To apply for the program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate education in scientific institutions and organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Be pursuing one of the designated specializations;
- Have scored a minimum of 450 points on the university entrance exam;
- Have an overall GPA above 80%;
- Actively participate in extracurricular activities (volunteering, social engagement, etc.);
- Additionally, candidates must meet at least one of the following social criteria:
Be from a family receiving targeted state social assistance;
Be a person without parents or raised in an orphanage;
- Or have both parents (or one parent, if he/she has a single parent) fit one of the categories below:
Persons with a certified disability of degree I, II, or III;
Persons registered as unemployed;
Persons unemployed and receiving an age-based labor pension;
Persons unemployed and receiving social benefits by age.
Note: For first-year students meeting the above social criteria, entrance exam scores will be used as a basis for selection.
The selection process will include stages of online application, evaluation, and interview. Performance and a motivation letter will be considered in the selection process.
Final selection will be based on interview results. During the interview, candidates will be asked about their goals, social background, activities, and student life.
The 50 female students who successfully pass all stages will receive a monthly scholarship of 200 manats and participate in personal and professional development activities provided through the program.
