Partners of the Erasmus + project "Creation of the Conference of Rectors in Azerbaijan" (ECAR), in partnership with University Azerbaijan, are visiting Sweden. The Royal University of Technology, one of Sweden's most prestigious universities, is hosting a seminar on "The Role of the Rectors' Conference in the Development of the Higher Education System" co-ordinated by Baku Business University and funded by the European Commission from 16 to 20 May 2022. The seminar was dedicated to the study of European experience for the establishment of a conference of rectors and the development of higher education in Azerbaijan. The event is attended by a representative of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, 3 rectors from 15 Azerbaijani universities, 20 vice-rectors and other leaders in various fields. Azerbaijan University is represented by Nushaba Guliyeva, Advisor to the Rector, Director of the International Master's and Doctoral Center, and Bakhtiyar Badalov, Head of the International Relations Department.
The event will be attended by authorized representatives of the Rectors' Conference of Sweden, Lithuania, Finland and Poland, rectors of the Royal University of Technology, Stockholm University and The Hague-Helia University of Applied Sciences. In the next days of the seminar, Monica Steinel, Deputy Secretary General of the European University Association, will make a presentation on "Universities without Borders - Vision for the Future 2030".
