On the occasion of  the International Youth Day-August 12 ,an event “Youth is the Future”was held at Azerbaijan University with the joint organization of Nasimi District Executive Power,Main Department of  Youth and Sport of Baku City and Youth and Sports Department of Nasimi District .Gulara Verdiyeva,the first deputy chief of the Executive Power of Nasimi District ,Aydin Yusifov,deputy chief of Main Department of  Youth and Sport of Baku City ,Shahmar Tagiyev,head of the Youth and Sports Department of Nasimi District  and Eltun Suleymanov,deputy chairman of the Public Council under the Head of the Nasimi District Executive Power ,and students of universities participated at the event.

The successful and effective youth policy in Azerbaijan was discussed at the meeting.It was brought to attention that the state youth policy founded by national leader Heydar Aliyev is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.Today,the youth of Azerbaijan are surrounded by the comprehensive care of the state.Against the background of the youth policy implementation in our country,significant measures have been taken by the state in the direction of creating social-political,socio-economic,organizational-legal conditions and guarantees in order to ensure the comprehensive development of young people .

After the speeches,the event continued in a discussion format.In the end,young people who showed activity in social life of Nasimi district were awarded with an honorary decree.
