The University Programming Championship was held at Azerbaijan University among students from the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The contest, organized by ICT Faculty dean Asif Pashayev, head of the Department of Mathematics and Ccomputer Science Rashad Mastaliyev, and Department lecturer Ali Gurbanov, presented students with 11 tasks on an online platform. 

According to the results of the four-hour competition, aimed at preparing university students for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), third-year Information Technology student Ulvi Sadygzade took first place by solving 9 tasks with 100% accuracy. Second place went to second-year Information Technology student Huseyngulu Rzayev, and third place was claimed by second-year Information Technology student Alijan Mikayilov, who also solved 7 tasks. 

It should be noted that, based on the competition results, teams will be formed from students studying Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Information Security to represent Azerbaijan University at international competitions.
