Professor of Azerbaijan University Asif Hajiyev's book "Mythopoeetics of the Russian prose. The second half of the twentieth century" was published.

The role of mythological and folklore elements in the search for modern philosophical and aesthetic content and artistic functions of archetypes have been investigated in the book published by LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing. The work of the Russian prose-writers to the expression of traditional moral and aesthetic values, the uniqueness of the national worldview and typology of the literary process in the monograph was paid special attention. In the separate section of the book, the works of other people, primarily representatives of Turkish-speaking people in Russian, were considered as an integral part of the Russian literary process.

The book is intended for philologists and readers interested in Russian literature.
