By decision of the Academic Council of Azerbaijan University, a new scientific journal titled “Paradigma” has been established. The journal is aimed at master's and doctoral students. The goal of the journal is to provide young researchers with a platform to present their scientific results to the academic community. The journal is interdisciplinary, covering many areas of science, and will be published quarterly.

Thus, the number of scientific journals of the university reached three.

The journal ‘Silk Road” (ISSN 1810-911X), which has been published since 1997, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes articles reflecting the results of scientific research in the fields of finance and economics. This journal, which is included in the list of periodical scientific publications recommended by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the publication of primary dissertation results in Azerbaijan, is indexed in databases such as Index Copernicus, Erih PLUS, and E-library (RSCI).

The journal “Social Issues”, established in 2023, is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal dedicated to theories, methods, and their applications in the social sciences. The journal also publishes articles on various areas of social sciences, including sociology, cultural anthropology, ethnography, social geography, cultural studies, social policy, sociolinguistics, and social history, gender studies, as well as social work and education in social work.
