The presentation of the “State Program for 2022-2026 for Enabling Youth to Study in Prestigious Foreign Universities” was held at Azerbaijan University. At the event attended by senior students, the representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education, Gulnara Mammadova and Pasha Pashayev, informed the participants about the objectives of the program, priority directions, stages, costs covered within the program, application rules, and required documents, selection criteria and procedures, control over the implementation of the program, the employment of graduates, and answered their questions.

It was noted at the event that the target indicator of the state program is to ensure the education of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan in prestigious higher educational institutions of foreign countries in 2022-2026, not more than 400 students per year, in general, up to 2000 student. Under the program, at least 80 percent of the places of study in foreign higher education institutions will cover the master's level of higher education.
