Azerbaijan University hosted a knowledge competition on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and Modern Azerbaijan”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Azerbaijan University. The competition was attended by 8 teams.

In the knowledge competition, the teams tested their knowledge on topics such as “Heydar Aliyev's life path”, “Heydar Aliyev and the culture of Azerbaijan”, “Heydar Aliyev's political activities”, “Heydar Aliyev and the economy of Azerbaijan”, “ICT and common worldview”. The event, which was attended by the teams “Agarta”, “Xary Bulbul”, “Khamsa”, “Iron fist”, “Success”, “Gladiators”, “Alagoz”, “Victory”, was held in an interesting and intense competition. Answers of the teams, where each question was provided for 1 minute, were evaluated by jury.

The teams “Success” and “Iron Fist”, who won the first two matches, reached the final. And in the decisive round, the “Success” team defeated its opponent with a score of 6-5 and became the winner of the “Heydar Aliyev and Modern Azerbaijan” knowledge competition. 

All students who took part in the competition were awarded certificates of participation. The award ceremony for the winning team will take place next week. 

It should be noted that the knowledge competition was organized in accordance with the action plan of Azerbaijan University within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, guided by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 29, 2022.
