A meeting was held at Azerbaijan University to discuss potential areas of cooperation between student scientific societies of Azerbaijan University and several other higher education institutions. The event was moderated by Latifa Agamaliyeva, head of the Science Department at Azerbaijan University, and brought together the heads of student scientific societies from the following institutions: Azerbaijan University, Azerbaijan Medical University, Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Azerbaijan National Conservatory, Baku Business University, and Baku Eurasian University.

In her welcoming address, Solmaz Ilyaszada, chair of the SSS of Azerbaijan University, greeted the guests and emphasized that the primary aim of the meeting was to establish and strengthen scientific ties among universities, implement joint projects, explore cooperation prospects, and exchange ideas on various scientific initiatives.

Following this, head of the Science Department Latifa Agamalieva highlighted the role of inter-university collaboration in advancing scientific research and academic activities and stressed the significance of such initiatives and the importance of joint efforts to be taken in this regard.

Participants then shared their thoughts and proposals. Key discussion topics included organizing student scientific competitions, holding joint student-oriented conferences and working meetings.

As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Azerbaijan University and the student scientific societies of Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University and Baku Business University for promoting students scientific research, organizing joint events, and disseminating scientific knowledge.
